The Art Newspaper is looking for a skilled, confident and ambitious Associate Editor to join the dedicated team in its New York office.
The ideal candidate is a team player with a track record of producing great content, including breaking news, investigative reports and features for digital and print media, with accuracy and speed.
An ability to work well to deadline and under pressure and a good contact list are essential. Experience with art market reporting, including auctions, is especially valuable, as is a background in editing, including developing and commissioning story ideas.
We are also looking for an experienced and motivated Advertising Executive to join the team in New York.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling into the company’s print and digital platforms as well as integrated campaigns to new and existing clients in the Americas. As part of a small team, this individual is responsible for the entire sales process including establishing a pipeline, writing proposals, receiving ad materials, sending media packages and issues, and supporting the commercial department with administrative and marketing projects as required.
At least 3 years’ experience in multi-channel advertising sales across a range of categories, as well as sales and account management with a proven track record of business conversion, is expected.
