The Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid’s sleek, sweeping sculpture Crest, 2014, is due to be temporarily installed outside the Victoria and Albert Museum in London this month. The futuristic installation, which was designed to reflect the sky above and water below and which was commissioned by Meliá Hotels International to celebrate the launch of the group's Hadid-designed ME Dubai hotel, will hover over the pond in the John Madejski Garden during the London Design Festival (13-21 September). It is then due to be dismantled and reinstalled in the grounds of the five-star hotel in the Burj Khalifa district of Dubai in time for the hotel’s opening in 2016.
