A travelling exhibition of Leonardo da Vinci’s engineering marvels arrives at the Science Museum in London this month (Leonardo da Vinci: the Mechanics of Genius, 10 February-4 September). The show includes 39 models of his inventions that were made in Milan for the 500th anniversary of his birth in 1952. (Leonardo only realised them as drawings.) The show is sponsored by Airbus Group and supported by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
